The Jerusalem Foundation is a non-profit foundation that promotes the development of the city of Jerusalem, by raising funds for social and cultural projects, for the city budget and establishing parks, gardens, forests, recreation areas, theaters and museums; ancient sites, synagogues, mosques, and restored churches; funded community and social centers, preschool centers, and health clinics; and sponsoring archaeological digs, scholarships, and cultural events.
